TR@TC Summer 2021 Applications Open

18-Month Dual Certification Program, with Generous Financial Package

We're looking for applicants who are interested in engaging in long (many years) careers teaching in NYC high-need public schools. We're looking for those who have a strong social justice stance that clearly intersects with an asset-based appreciation for students, families, teachers and others in the local and school communities. We are especially looking from applicants who are from the local communities where they will be teaching - especially applicants who also attended NYC high need public schools.

Email teaching.residents@tc.columbia.edu to schedule office hours with one of our staff members.

Application Deadline: March 15th, 2021

Winter Wellness Series

Our Winter Wellness offerings are in full swing, and we've enjoyed the many messages of gratitude sent by the early birds who are currently enjoying their DIY spa kits. Please continue to join us for many more opportunities to fill your cup with wellness, by engaging in the variety of workshop offerings listed below.

Special thanks to our partner, Success In Motion, for expanding our horizons and enabling TR@TC to offer this wide array of wellness experiences.

Mindful Monday, Workout Wednesday, and Transformation Thursday workshops happen on a weekly basis.

Give yourself this hour of healing! Join Activist, Teaching Artist, Performer, and Sound Practitioner Arinmaya Lawrence, as she guides us into a meditative state, accompanied by her glorious voice and nourishing sounds. All you need is a quiet space and headphones (for a deeper experience).

Join ELANA BELL, Poet, Sound Practitioner, and Creative Guide, alongside BEN BROWN, Licensed Massage Therapist and Sound Practitioner, for a special workshop to support our nourishment and healing in these challenging times. They will lead us in a variety of practices including sound healing, bodywork, creative expression, and guided journaling, intended to restore and rejuvenate us to do our good work.
