Help New-York Historical Society bring women’s history to life in classrooms across the country!

Starting in 2021, the New-York Historical Society is launching an exciting new teacher ambassador program in conjunction with our Women & the American Story (WAMS) curriculum website. WAMSbassadors are educators committed to incorporating more women’s voices into their own instruction and helping others do the same.

We are seeking dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic educators who serve in K-12 classrooms, school/district administrative roles, and/or teacher training positions. Prior expertise in women’s history is not required – we will train you and provide a stipend!
