Subject: Our Kickstarter Campaign Goes Live Tomorrow!

Dear "DriverX" Cast & Crew,

So, the time has come! The launch of our big Kickstarter Campaign! We'll be launching tomorrow, Wednesday, March 16th. I want to go over our early strategy with you and let you know how you can support the campaign.

First, we will be doing a "soft launch." That means I will launch the page in the morning, but with no fanfare. Once I launch, I'll be sending the link to a few key friends and family members who have committed to donating on Day 1. Once I determine we have a respectable number of Backers and a good amount of money raised, I will let everyone know to spread the word far and wide. We're planning a huge social media blitz throughout the campaign, and we'll be doing email blasts as well, all along the way.

If any of you want to donate, or if you have friends or family members that you know want to donate, please, please pass along the campaign page link:

Right now this link will take you to our website, but come tomorrow morning, it will take you to the Kickstarter page. It is crucial  that these campaigns start off strong. Statistics show that a strong opening ultimately yields a successful campaign. And "priming the pump" before you send strangers to your page is a very powerful tactic. People want to back a winner.

I encourage you to check out the page yourself and see what we're doing there. You'll want to check out our video, especially, which will give you a sneak peek of the film! You can also see our rewards, etc.

During the campaign, we'll be asking for your support in the following two major ways:

1.) Share/Comment/Like/Retweet our social media posts, especially on Facebook. We plan to post upwards of 7 times a day! Facebook's algorithms will keep those posts from spreading out to fans unless there is engagement. The more you engage with our posts, the more others will be able to see them. We call this Social Echo and this may be the most powerful thing we can do to insure the word gets out. The extra-added benefit of all this is we'll end up at the end of the campaign with a much bigger social reach.

2.) Let your friends and family know about the campaign. Post on Facebook, tweet out messages, or better yet, email folks. The most effective way to get someone to donate is still good, old-fashioned personal emails. I will be sending out hundreds of these personal emails throughout the campaign.

We're trying to raise $35,000 in 30 days. That's hard. I know because I've launched two successful campaigns already, and this is much more than I've raised in the past. But we're very confident we have the kind of film that will get people excited, and I'm also confident that we have a great team in place to make this campaign work. That team includes you. I know most of you are working and hustling, but please, if you have a second, share what we're doing here. A successful campaign will do wonders for the film, ensuring we all have something we can really be proud of!

Thanks so much for your support! I'll be back in touch with updates!

Best,
Mark
