Hi Friend!

Happy Rainy Days!

The studio and I are humming along. We were both recently featured in the Urban Eco-Woman Series! Here is what they shared about us:

"The Urban Eco-Woman features Toronto's newest ground breaking studio, Dream Yoga Dance. We chat with founder, Julia Ray, about her unique multidisciplinary approach, delving deep into conversations around the vital role that dreams play within shaping our lives. We also touch on Toronto's hottest dance craze, Ecstatic Dance and tips to reclaim your youthful energy through Dream Yoga Dance."

Watch the video and let me know your thoughts. Please post your comments as well!

SCHEDULE CHANGES:

Starting March 30th our Monday evening Ecstatic Dance as well as Restorative Yoga classes will be moved to Wednesday evenings. So the first Wednesday evening falls on April Fool's Day. I want to assure you this is not a prank! I wouldn't do that to you! We are truly starting this new schedule on April 1st.

Having spoken to most of you already, I know that Wednesdays works well for you. I truly hope all of you will be able to happily come on Wednesday evenings and enjoy your Ecstatic Dance and Restorative Practise. The times are not changing but just in case you are wondering, here it is, starting April 1st:

Ecstatic Dance Wednesdays 6:30pm - 8:15pm (you are welcome to arrive by 7pm)

Restorative Yoga Freedom 8:30pm - 10:00pm

Please check out the Community Teachers Weekly Class Schedule here. More information and the full schedule

I look forward to working with you at the studio! xo

Julia's Blog - Restorative Yoga gives & gives

We’re all in the same boat when it comes to stress and tension. Life pulls and pries at you. You respond to the demands and want to please everyone, but at some point just realize you have moved so far away from your centre that something has to give.

Instead of taking time to review the situation, you jump back in for more. Yeah we’ve all been there. Even though we’re all superheroes working at the edge of our capacity every day, this kind of lifestyle is just not sustainable. Something has to give. And usually it does.

Let it be you giving into your body as opposed to your body giving up on you.
