Subject: Flood Resources and Ways to Help Victims

Lend a hand to those in need!

The tragic flooding in Kerrville and across Central Texas has taken scores of lives and left many survivors homeless. These victims and their families are our neighbors, and they need immediate help.

My staff and I put together this guide to organizations that are assisting residents and providing financial assistance for recovery efforts. Please consider making a donation to one or more today!

How You Can Help

Kerr County Flood Relief Fund
The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country launched this fund to support local response, relief, and recovery efforts. All contributions go directly to organizations working on the front lines.

Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR)
TEXSAR has deployed swift water rescue teams, boats, drones, and canine units to help search for the missing. The group is hoping to raise $100,000 to sustain these efforts.

Shalom Austin
Shalom Austin is raising funds to help families directly impacted by the floods in Central Texas. Every donation provides urgent needed recovery assistance. You can also contribute to the organization's Jewish Family Service Food Pantry wishlist throughout the month of July. All items purchased through the wishlist will be donated to flood relief efforts.

World Central Kitchen
The World Central Kitchen is looking for help providing meals to first responders in the Kerrville area.

Hill Country Helpers
All contributions to the Hill Country Helpers will go toward water, tarps, blankets, toiletries, canned goods, and other supplies for flood victims.

Texas Progressive Caucus
The Texas Progressive Caucus is soliciting financial donations for both direct supplies and charities helping Hill Country flood victims. Please note that all contributions will be made public to confirm the funds are used as intended.

Austin Pets Alive!
If you're interested in helping care for pets rescued from flooded areas, register to volunteer with Austin Pets Alive! today. You can also make financial donations to the organization.
