Subject: Flood Relief Benefit + Upcoming Town Hall

Join me to support first responders!

We're all devastated by the recent floods across Central Texas, and my heart goes out to all of the communities impacted by this disaster.

To honor the tireless dedication and selfless efforts of the first responders, I’m proud to support a benefit concert event hosted by Mozart's Coffee Roasters. All of the event's proceeds go to Texas Search and Rescue (TEXSAR) and Texas State Troopers Disaster Response.

🗓️ When: Saturday, July 26
📌 Where: Mozart's Coffee Roasters, 3828 Lake Austin Blvd.

🎈12 - 6 PM: Join us for a family-friendly fair featuring face painting, donut boat rides on the lake, Longhorn steer displays, balloon artists, local live music, two-step dance lessons, and amazing food.

🎸 8 - 10 PM: Mozart's will present a concert showcasing a stellar lineup of talented Austin musicians, with a special guest headliner Rhys Stygal. Stygal is known for his mastery of Stevie Ray Vaughan's iconic repertoire.

This is the time of year Austin puts together its annual financial plan, and City Hall needs to hear from residents like you! That's why my team and I are holding a Budget Town Hall in early August.

WHEN: Wednesday, August 6, 6 - 8 PM (doors open at 5:30)

WHERE: Northwest Hills United Methodist Church, 7050 Village Center Dr.

RSVP: Register at bit.ly/3GIO0Bl

Your input on Austin's budget is more important than ever. A financial shortfall was projected for the first time in many years, giving local officials a tough choice: They'll need to either manage public funds more effectively or present voters with a tax increase.

Join us to learn more, ask questions, and share your priorities for our community. The evening will include a budget presentation, a Q&A session, and an update from Texas State Senator Sarah Eckhardt on legislative issues that could impact Austin's finances.

TAKE OUR D10 BUDGET SURVEY: If you're unable to attend the Town Hall or would like to provide input ahead of time, take our brief budget survey today!
