Subject: 🇺🇸 CA Jail Outreach Monthly Newsletter - Inspiring Change, April Edition, Volume 4

We added a map of all the people we have helped, including inmates and their families. Check it out!

Thank you for taking the time to read our monthly newsletter. We have a lot we want to share with everyone, but we can't include everything here. Please visit our website and follow us on social media to stay updated on our efforts to help others.

Please keep us in your prayers.

Second Chance

New Monthly Theme

We're thrilled about this month's theme, focusing on offering families and inmates a Second Chance. Our goal is to help them get their lives back on track. For the past two weeks, we've been diligently supporting both inmates and their families who need assistance.

As we developed this theme, everything came together smoothly with our prayers. We’ve secured the web address www.secondchance.living, but it’s not yet operational. The website will be built soon, so stay tuned.

We have partnered with a company that prints the Gospel of John, including a plan of salvation at the start of each pocket-sized book. I can design custom front and back covers for a small donation. This organization began in 1893. If you're interested, reply for more details and an informational video.

The yellow picture on the right is our draft for the pocket book cover. Below are examples from others spreading the gospel.

CA Jail Outreach

We have been actively serving the Lord and helping others, and we are grateful for the many blessings we have experienced. I want to share that we are on a positive path, utilizing technology to assist those in need.

Below is a map with pins representing our outreach efforts to help individuals, including incarcerated individuals. We connect through secure emails and video chats provided by the jails. While there are costs involved, the interactions—conversations, Bible studies, and prayer time—are invaluable. Seeing inmates' hands over the screen during prayer is heartwarming. Please pray with us as we continue to fill the USA map with pins.

You will also see a picture with blue stripes, illustrating how an individual found our contact number through an internet search and called us with a voice message. We are currently working with him to fulfill his request.

What Are We Doing Now?

We are getting ready to submit our application for this summer's local, county, and state fairs. We are working on items for our tables and designing our event table. We have two display ideas in progress, but they still need improvement. Below, you will see a rough draft, and I plan to finish the final product soon.

We have started building the website for www.secondchance.living, and creating it has been fun. I look forward to sharing it with everyone next month. My goal is to have approved, effective resources. If we need to pull everything together, we will. The goal is to help people get back on track.

Please pray with me for approval of our three federal applications concerning access to the inmate population. We are currently waiting for the completion of background checks on my certifications in the States.

In the first week of July, I will attend CAMP David International for training on hosting our camp in 2026. Our camp will be called Camp GROWTH. This training aims to learn how to work with junior kids with family members in the jail system. I am looking forward to it.

Our Vision And The Path Ahead

Our goal is to help others and share the message of Christ. We are preparing display tables for upcoming fairs, where we will sell coffee. Customers can also order coffee online.

We offer over 12 different coffee blends, instant coffee, and K-Cups. One popular choice is the Rock Creek Blend, which has tasting notes of citrus, toffee, and dark chocolate. This coffee is sure to bring a smile to your face. We will have samples at our display table. We will make sure to update you when our website is live. Below, you can see drafts of our coffee packaging. We are still finalizing the designs, but this will give you an idea of what to expect. If your organization wants to create its coffee package, please email me for more information. Everyone loves coffee!

I want to share a recent heartbreaking experience. A caregiver contacted us about a little boy struggling with sadness and depression. His mom is in county jail awaiting trial, and his dad is in federal prison. During our call, I heard him crying in the background, pleading, “I want my mom.” It was tough to listen to. We kept the call brief so the caregiver could comfort him, but I promised to send resources and ideas for free activities to help him. We ended the call with a heartfelt prayer for the boy and his family. Afterward, my daughter overheard and asked why he was upset. I explained that his mom made a mistake and was in jail. She simply replied, “Oh,” and then suggested, “Dad, let’s send him a teddy bear. Everyone loves a teddy bear.” We loved the idea and decided to do it. A few days later, I thought sending a teddy bear to every child we work with would ensure they all feel loved and supported. These cuddly companions are being gifted to spread comfort and joy. The idea is to support kids emotionally during difficult times, helping them feel safe and loved.

We will start I am B.E.A.R., a program specifically designed for kids, emphasizing their worth and potential. The acronym stands for:

I am-

Blessed (EPHESIANS 1:3)

Equipped (EPHESIANS 2:10)

Accepted (ROMANS 15:7)

Redeemed (EPHESIANS 1:7)

The I am B.E.A.R. program features a special device that plays "Jesus Loves Me" for 5 minutes and then turns off automatically. It also recites prayers, including "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep," "The Our Father," and "Lord Hear My Prayer." Each time you press the button, it says a different prayer. This helps provide comfort and support to children in need.

Next month, we will begin working on the logo, graphs, finding the domain, and website page. Below is a rough draft of the project. Please pray with us as we start this journey to help children who are struggling with being separated from their mom or dad in jail. Your support is important to us!
