Subject: We're Back!

Awesome gathering of artists, last month!

Thank you everyone who came together for Dare2Draw's Celebration of Will Eisner and Jack Kirby at The Art Students League of New York, with Kyle Baker and Rand Hoppe.

The spirit of the great masters of sequential arts was with us, as we dared to draw and learn more about comic book story telling.

From the heart, we gratefully acknowledge the support of Carl & Nancy Gropper of The Will & Ann Eisner Family Foundation, Rand Hoppe from The Jack Kirby Museum & Research Center, The Art Students League, The Will Eisner Official Site and Denis Kitchen.

Thank you to our hosts, Simon Fraser and Edie Nugent, 4th Unit crew and the dedicated Dare2Draw team, for bringing their A-game so we can create and inspire cartoonists, together. Thank you to our awesome models, Lexi, Spiderman and our very own Plastic man, Jared Rydelek!

Thanks to the very talented pros, Fred Harper, Dean Haspiel and many more, who joined us, at The Art Students League.

Big thanks to our wonderful supporters: Jerry's Artarama, Wacom, Dark Horse Comics, Joe Koch Warehouse, Accent UK Comics, Blue Line Pro, Google YouTube Space NY, Random House, Koh-I-Noor USA, Army's PS Magazine and many more.

Thanks to The Brooklyn Brewery, which lovingly provided beer.
Special big thank you to SlingStudio for helping us bring the Dare2Draw Studios live event to the world of livestream.

We’re grateful to our new sponsor, Hand Shaped Chairs, for donating the amazing “Giant Kirby Hand“ chairs.

Thank you, all!

Until next time,
Charles D. Chenet and The Dare2Draw Team
