As we gather to celebrate Will Eisner Week 2026, we honor the legacy of a man who proved that comics are more than just ink on paper—they are a profound art form, a mirror to the human condition, and a vital tool for communication. His spirit of innovation and deep respect for the creator’s voice is exactly what we need to channel today.
Yet, as we meet this year, our world is fractured. And within our own beloved medium, we face a challenge that feels just as existential: the rapid, unfeeling rise of Artificial Intelligence.
That is why, during this Eisner Week, we are launching our most important initiative yet: Creator CODE.
Creator CODE is built on a simple but powerful ethos: "We are all creators, and we support each other. Period." Our mission is to build awareness and create a dedicated space—a home—where human-made art is protected, valued, and celebrated. As AI becomes ingrained in every corner of the creative world, the need to protect the warmth, soul, and imperfection of human storytelling is urgent. Creator CODE "LIVE" is our answer.
Creator CODE - Collaborative
Description
Affordable, amenity-filled studio for comic book creators, writers, cartoonists, animators, digital creators, and graphic designers. This is a unique collaborative offering through the Creator CODE initiative: The opportunity for cartoonists and comic book creators to work in a dedicated workplace and have their work shared via active marketing by the dare2draw marketing arm. Excellent working atmosphere, focused, intelligent, secure, low-density, responsible, friendly space.
