Subject: Episode 5 - Dare2Draw Studio's Chat with Mary Wilshire

Mary Wilshire is well-known for her early work in the comic book industry, with numerous projects for Marvel and DC Comics, Heavy Metal and National Lampoon. She has provided illustrations for many more mainstream publications, such as Good Housekeeping, National Geographic, Readers Digest, Parents Magazine, The New York Daily News, Time Life Books and numerous others.

Mary worked in the underground women's comics movement, in the early 1980's. She works in many mediums and has produced wonderful and imaginative stand-alone illustrations in line art, pastels, watercolor and marker - some exhibited in museums and galleries, and many in the hands of fortunate collectors. Mary even designed the Blues Brothers logo and many character drawings for the WWF!
