 | Carl
has held creative lead positions in publishing, entertainment,
marketing, interactive and education. He loves all forms of visual
storytelling and began his career drawing storyboards for major NYC ad
agencies and illustrating comic books for DC, Marvel and other comics
publishers. For most of his 13 years at
Marvel Comics, Carl was an Executive Editor, overseeing 1/3 of Marvel's
publications. Carl’s duties included spearheading Epic, Marvel’s imprint
of diverse creator-owned titles. He became Editor-in-Chief of Marvel's
General Entertainment and Epic publishing divisions.
Carl discovered and
mentored a number of Marvel’s top creators including Jim Lee, Whilce
Portacio, Scott Williams, Jon Bogdanove, June Brigman, Larry Stroman,
Terry Shoemaker and Art Adams. While at Marvel, Carl developed original
and established entertainment properties. Some of these properties,
including The Punisher, became cross media franchises, spawning numerous
publications, games, licensed products and dramatic productions. When
he should have been sleeping, Carl also created new entertainment IP,
wrote and drew for Marvel. Among Carl's projects was a celebrated run as
writer/layout artist on Punisher War Journal. He created Alien
Legion, Marvel/Epic Comics' longest running original title, and was

| | | | Simon Fraser is a Scottish
comics artist and writer best known for
his work on 'Nikolai Dante', a series he created for 2000AD with writer
Robbie Morrison. Fraser's early work includes 'Lux and Alby Sign on and
Save the Universe', 'Roy of the Rovers', 'Family', 'Shimura' and several
'Judge Dredd' adventures. 'Nikolai Dante' won the Eagle Award for Best
Character in 2003 In the United States he drew 'Grindhouse: Prison Ship
Antares' for Dark Horse and 'Richard Matheison's HellHouse' for IDW. He manages the highly respected webcomic colective ACTIVATEcomix.com
where he writes & draws 'The Adventures of Lilly Mackenzie'. Since
2013 he has been drawing the Dr Who comic, first for IDW then for Titan.

| Mina Sanwald is a New York Illustrator and Animator best known for
her colorful personality and quirky Manga-like drawing style. She
received her BFA in Animation and Illustration from The Art Institute of
Boston, in May of 2010. Since graduating, she has worked on many
animated shorts; most notably on Weird Al’s music video, TMZ and Winsor
McCay’s fully restored Flying House.
Currently, she works out of Long Island, New York as a freelance artist
and mentors sequential art workshops at many libraries and schools.
Mina loves animated movies and more than anything, enjoys daydreaming,
playing video games and hanging out with her lovely kittens, Ser Otto,
and Lady Isis. |
