Rejecting His Life – Emmanuella Ellis

For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Romans 6:10 NASB

Followers of Christ do not reject or deny the death or resurrection. We are certain that Jesus died and rose again for us. We do not hesitate to proclaim and celebrate it. But we are very likely to reject or deny His new life in us. How is that? Every time we choose to satisfy our old fleshly desires, pleasing ourselves instead of God, we reject the new creation we are in Christ.

Christ died so that we would be free to live to glorify God. His death and resurrection made us righteous and gave us the freedom and power to live a Christlike life, a life of victory over sin. Every time we proclaim His death and resurrection, we need to remember that we died and rose with Him, no longer to live for ourselves but for God, just like Jesus. Thus, if we are not living for our Father, we are rejecting His new life that is in us by our actions, for the whole world to see.

Let's celebrate Christs victory and our new life in Him, by living it out every day. By this, we proclaim the good news with our lives. In doing this, we tell the world that our Lord lives and He has given us the power through the Holy Spirit to live like Him now and forever. The way we live our lives is evidence of the work Christ has done in us. Evidence of His abiding life that resides within.

Emmanuella has the desire to reach out to others using the understanding gained through the scriptures as a tool. Contact

And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood. Luke 22:20

Recent Amazon Review:

"For anyone on the fence, backsliding, or doubtful this book clarifies misunderstandings, perceived contradictions, and outright lies. I was led to read this book at a time when I thought I was over Jesus; but truth defeats lies every time and never forsakes the believer." 2-18-17
