Crucifixion - Did Jesus Die in Vain?
Sheriena McEvers

Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain. NKJV

God had a plan to reconcile the world to himself not count our sins. A plan that rested on the crucifixion of his Son, suffering for our sins so that we might be accepted.

That is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:19 NKJV

God so loved us that he submitted his Son to us unconditionally and completely. Jesus so loved his father that he agreed to the plan. He chose to lay down his life; it was not taken from him. He does not force anyone to choose to accept him.

But to those who do receive his Son, to them, he gives the right to be called his child. No one else. He had a perfect plan. Knowing many would reject his Son, his gift of life, he gave anyway.

He gave knowing many would say, “Thanks, but no thanks.” Or, “No thanks, I’m good enough. My behavior is acceptable. I don’t need his blood to cleanse me.”

To those who reject his offer, Jesus died in vain.

I pray he did not die in vain for you.

John 3:16
John 14:31
John 10:17,18
John 1:12,13
Galatians 2:21

Eternal Father, May the crucifixion of your son not be in vain for us. May we not waste your grace and love. May the eyes of the deceived be opened to the truth of your grace and love.

Jesus poured out His blood for the New Covenant of grace and truth, replacing the Old Covenant letter of the law of Moses. Believers are exclusively under the New Covenant, the last will and testament of Jesus that began after the cross.

And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood. Luke 22:20

Recent Amazon Review:

"For anyone on the fence, backsliding, or doubtful this book clarifies misunderstandings, perceived contradictions, and outright lies. I was led to read this book at a time when I thought I was over Jesus; but truth defeats lies every time and never forsakes the believer." 2-18-17
