B-17 SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY VISIT - August 29 to September 5

Get up close to B-17 Sentimental Journey as it makes a return visit to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum for a week. Book a flight in it!
B-17 Sentimental Journey is scheduled to arrive around 10 am on August 29th. A short local flight is also scheduled that day at 11:00 am. 

The rest of the week, this famous B-17 Flying Fortress will be on the ground on display.  Regular Museum admission rates apply. Tour inside the B-17 for an additional $5. Tour proceeds help maintain the Commemorative Air Force's B-17 in flying condition.
The B-17 is available to book rides in. To book, do not call the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, instead call the Commemorative Air Force's B-17 Canadian booking number at 778-668-0417. The aircraft holds 8 passengers (2 in the nose at $850 US each and 6 for the radio room/waist gunner position at $425 US each). They are scheduling rides on September 2-3-4 while the aircraft is at Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. Please direct any questions about ride details to their booking number.

NOSE ART NIGHT RUN UP - Saturday September 3
While the B-17 Sentimental Journey visits, it will also be one of the stars for our Nose Art Night Run Up on Saturday night. This event is geared towards the photo enthusiast and features night ground run ups of the Museum's B-25 Mitchell (Hot Gen) and Avro Lancaster (temporarily painted as Lady Orchid) plus the Commemorative Air Force's B-17 Flying Fortress (Sentimental Journey), all featuring nose art.

Period reenactors will be onsite for photo opportunities in advance of the engines running.
Only 200 tickets available (must buy in advance).
