Greetings! I hope everyone is enjoying a safe and fantastic summer. Court Services staff continues to make a positive difference in the lives of the citizens of Alachua County through our unique continuum of services. I am proud of the work our staff does, and the accomplishments they achieve, such as you will see throughout this newsletter. We hope to educate and inform as we highlight the good work of our staff, as well as share information pertinent to our fields of alternatives to incarceration and treatment. Enjoy! 

Metamorphosis - Long Term Residential Program
Do you know of someone who is alcohol and/or drug dependent looking for treatment?  Help could be just a call away if you reside in Alachua, Bradford, Baker, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Suwannee or Union County.      


Certified Public Manager Program 2016
So, what’s The BIG Deal?  Last week Salatheia Jenkins Brown and Louis Morales became two of Florida’s newest Certified Public Manager (CPM) graduates!  Statewide, 484 people completed the course. Locally, 10 did.  So, that’s The BIG Deal!

National Drug Court Month - May 2016
Drug Courts around the country were recognized for their contributions deterring drug abuse and crime. More than 840 individuals have successfully completing the Alachua County W.O. Beauchamp Drug Court Program since its inception. 

 

Pretrial, Probation and Parole Supervision Week - July 2016 
Nationwide, over 5 million men and women on probation are supervised by dedicated Pretrial, Parole and Probation Officers.  This week the nation and Alachua County recognized the men and women who supervise them.
