The 2 Key Elements of Self-Motivation

24 April 2017
Oakland, CA

Hi Friend,

I'm always curious what motivates people -- what motivates me to write? What motivates you to write? What motivates each of us to promote our books?

I help people overcome writer's block by asking for why they write and helping them connect to that. I also help authors connect their motivation to promote and take action on that.

So I was pleased to discover this article recently on the 2 key elements to self-motivation by Elle Kaplan. She writes...

"...a psychology professor at Harvard University, Ron Siegel, suggested that the key to following through on motivation boils down to this: bring optimism and fun back into the picture."

You can read the rest of the article here.

How can you bring optimism and fun back to your writing, your promotions, and all the other aspects of being an author?

Hit reply and let me know.
