Subject: AI Basics: What to know, do & not do

It feels like AI is everywhere in the online marketing world.

We’re told it’s a game-changer. That it will save time, generate fresh ideas, write website copy, and even crank out SEO-optimized blog posts.

And sure, I’ve used AI for brainstorming and tweaking my own website copy.

The results? Mixed.

What I’ve learned:

  • The output is only as good as the input.

  • AI doesn’t replace expertise - it amplifies it (when used well).

  • The promised time savings? Not immediate. AI needs training before it saves you time.

So, while I’ve found AI useful in some areas, I wasn’t convinced it had much value for lawyers (beyond marketing).

Until I met Mariette Clardy-Davis.

Mariette is a lawyer who teaches fellow lawyers how to ethically and effectively use AI - not just for marketing, but to simplify both work and life.

And let’s be real, who doesn’t want that?

Join me and Mariette for an insightful conversation on how professionals (especially lawyers) can leverage AI the right way.

P.S. Even though Mariette works with lawyers, this episode is for anyone trying to figure out how to utilize AI for work and life.
