Subject: Are you doing enough to succeed?

Most people do the bare minimum...

One of the most under discussed sides of business is mindset.

While gurus will post the odd platitude here and there the reality is that success in business is as much about mindset as it is work ethic.

But here's the thing...

Some people simply aren't programmed to succeed.

What do I mean by this?

Go onto any social media platform and you'll see people (including myself) talking about how low the bar is.

Essentially, most freelancers/ business owners will do the bare minimum to get the work done.

The result?

The bar gets lower every year.

And this is where you can see if people have truly worked on themselves...

90% of people are happy doing the bare minimum.

Essentially they show up, put in 20% effort and then relax as if they've dominated.

Then there's the top 10%.

These are people who have meticulously worked on their mindset and craft.

For these people success is the bare minimum.

Mastery is the ultimate goal.

Think of Ronaldo, Kobe and Steve Jobs.

People who focus on the small details to achieve the best results.

Individuals who think this way will dominate in any industry they operate in.

It's why so many athletes go on to become successful business owners.

So how can you apply this mindset in business?

Start small.

Read for an extra 10 minutes each day.

Complete those extra reps at the gym.

Submit client work a day early.

While these tasks may seem minimal they will compound over time.

And before you know it succeeding will become your bare minimum.

Start this today and you'll be a different person in three months.

Have a great week.
