Featured Tournament: North American Youth Sports
NAYS  is one of the fastest growing youth basketball tournament organizers in the country. It has grown from an infant organization with just one grade school team to an organization that now encompasses teams from nearly 40 states, and has had players involved from several foreign countries. With over 50-100 different basketball events across the country, this organization is on a mission to provide quality and affordable youth basketball tournaments for the youth of North America. NYAS basketball believes that winning is not the primary focus, but building skills for later basketball successes is foremost. The primary goal of the organization is to promote the interest and the growth of youth basketball in a fun and positive atmosphere. Organizing tournaments all over the country NYAS is spreading a message that NSID firmly supports. We are honored to work with an organization that holds the same values that led to the creation of NSID.

Hot Topic: Youth Sports Playing Time
One of the objectives of NSID is to provide youth athletes multiple different ways to better their game. NSID is founded on the basis that providing fair opportunity to athletes all over the country. Playing time in youth sports is often a major concern of athletes and parents, as the more playing time players get, the more fun they tend to have. We believe that every athlete has the right to a fair an equal playing field. Their is countless ways for young athletes to get more playing time. One of the ways is having good attitude. Another way that a youth athlete is able to get more playing time is to be dedicated, we firmly believe that a player who fully commits him/herself to the game of basketball is going to be the one who gets more time. The focus of youth sports is supposed to be on learning the game and gaining experience rather than winning at all costs. Youth Sports Parenting: Not pressuring your child to preform
There is nothing worse than constant criticism, especially when it could be you who is holding your son/daughter back. By nature, most children are trying to make their parent's happy so for them to hear constant criticism about what they are doing wrong, is hurtful. Over time, the child may build up massive resentment which leads to him/ her quitting the sport altogether. Instead, be your son’s/daughter’s biggest fan. There is no constant to being your son's/daughter's biggest fan. Get in the gym with them and have fun while being there. Although you want to get a workout in, it is also important to have fun while doing so. After the workout, spend time with them, even little games like "horse" just to get your child's mind off of being what they want to be for you. Think about it, if you went to work everyday and your boss/manager who you are already trying to impress is constantly on you about preforming in a certain way; would that make you want to work harder or quit?  For the vast majority, it makes them want to quit! Wouldn't you much rather work for a boss/manager who wants you to excel and pushes you to be better everyday in a positive way? For example, "Hey that write up yesterday was fantastic, keep it up!" Sounds a lot better than "Hey you don't do this the right way, fix it!" It definitely is a no brainer that pushing your child over the top is not fun for either of the parties. Be  positive and the results will come with that. NSID Key Feature: E-Sign Waiver Management
NSID was created by real youth sports coaches. We still operate a large youth sports program in Northern New Jersey and this keeps us on the heart beat of the youth sports world. We understand the short and long term issues that come up when it comes to team organization and tournament registration. One issue we found ourselves facing time and time again was the waiver that parents must sign for players of a team. NSID created an easy fix! Our E-Sign Waiver is an automated way to send waivers or documents to parents of players on your team and have them e-signed online. Our Waiver Management feature is an easy way for parents to just receive your waiver, e-sign and submit.  How would we know who signed the waiver? Will everyone's waiver be signed?  That is why we created a state of the art E-Sign Waiver and Document Management feature for NSID. This allows parents to sign waivers for their children for events listed on the team calendar. No more scrambling to the phones late Friday night, now all you have to do is e-sign online and you are ready to go!
