Featured Athlete
Jaidyn Bright Basketball Player
This weeks featured athlete is a an athlete who we love to model our program with. Jaidyn Bright is more than a basketball player. He understands what it takes to not only get better everyday on the court but off the court, as well. Along with the countless hours Jaidyn spends working at STACK, he also sets the tone for the model athlete in our youth sports program. This past month, Jaidyn and his family ran a Sneaker drive at STACK and were able to gather over 70 plus sneakers for churches in Africa. The consistency and drive of this young athlete is exactly what we instill into our players everyday. Work hard to be a great player in the court but also make sure you are being a great person off the court, as well. Its more than just the game of basketball at STACK and Jaidyn does a great job of showing it.
What's going on?
This past Monday was a great day at STACK. Our MLK day basketball camp was a huge success. With over 50 plus campers we were able to have an outstanding day of hard work, competitive games, and fun. This marks the 2nd straight No School Basketball Camp that has sold out with young players taking advantage of a day off to work on their game. Our next No School Basketball Camp is expected to be great as well and that takes place on Presidents Day 2/19/19. We can't wait to see all of our campers again in a few weeks!

Being a Positive Influence
BE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON YOUR CHILD.
At STACK we pride ourselves on teaching young athletes valuable life lessons through athletics. We believe there is no better place for a child to learn valuable lessons then playing sports. Believe it or not, as a parent it is important to be a positive influence on your child's growth on and off the basketball court. Kids are always going to make mistakes, whether it be turning the ball over, having a bad game, throwing a tantrum on the way home. It is important, as influencers, we allow our youth to grow and learn from these mistakes and be a positive role model for them. Yelling and reprimanding your child in a negative way does not help your child learn from the mistake they made.
