Register now for the CA 2E (Synon) and CA Plex Febuary 28th Community Update

Community president Roger Griffith will open the meeting with Plex/2E Community news, including an update on the upcoming CA 2E/Plex Worldwide Developer conference scheduled for October 15-17th in Austin, Texas. The theme this year will be leveraging AI for the CA 2E/Plex/IBM i developer.

Roger's update will be followed by three lightning talks from CA Plex and CA 2E developers.

Russell Berkeley will demonstrate how to display multiple columns on a CA 2E (Synon) DSPFIL / EDTFIL / SELRCD as well as how to define different colors on a screen for a field.

Jonathan Bolton will discuss how to route priority SQL queries to a new DB2 subsystem, enabling fine-tuning of performance goals If you are running external non-IBM i apps that are accessing your IBM i DB2 data. You won’t want to miss this lightning talk.

John Rhodes will present the basics of SQL tuning, centered around challenges of moving from DDS record level access to modernized SQL set level access.
