15th CA 2E / CA Plex Worldwide Conference

Virtual passes: valuable and free!

Our free AI Day Deep Dives and Keynote Sessions virtual passes are in high demand, and they're still available

If you can't make in person to the conference next week, these are the next best thing to immerse yourself in the latest CA 2E and CA Plex AI, or take in the latest from Broadcom and IBM straight from the source.

Attend live or stream when you have the time. You can even pick up both passes and have them in your back pocket when you need them.

More details about both passes are below our headline article!

The RPG Translation That Compiled Cleanly But Didn't Work

An LLM-translated RPG program can compile without a single error and preserve zero percent of the original business behavior.

Our new piece explains why a clean compile was never designed to catch that kind of failure, and what it actually takes to verify AI-assisted translation before trusting it.

One of five real examples he's walking through live at this year's CA 2E/CA Plex Worldwide Conference.

Conference

Go virtual!

The 15th CA 2E / CA Plex Worldwide Conference is now just around the corner: August 31 through September 2 in Nashville, themed "Race to the AI Future."

The agenda goes deep on the questions practitioners are actually wrestling with, including where AI-assisted analysis genuinely helps in CA 2E and CA Plex environments, what's coming up for the platforms from Broadcom's Chi Chen, and what IBM's Tim Rowe sees ahead for application development on IBM i.

Can't make it to Nashville on a month's notice? That's precisely what the virtual pass is for. You'll join the sessions live as they happen, hear the same platform updates and technical deep dives as the room in Nashville, and stay at your desk for anything production throws at you that week. No travel approval required, no coverage plan for three days away.

Virtual pass registration stays open at plex2e.com right up to the conference. If your team's modernization roadmap runs through CA 2E or CA Plex, this is three days that will sharpen it.

Heads Up

2026 GenAI Code Security Report: AI Is Writing More of Your Code but Security Hasn't Caught Up

Veracode's 2026 GenAI Code Security Report puts numbers on something discovery teams see every day: AI now writes roughly half of committed code in many organizations, yet 44% of code-generation tasks still introduce a risky vulnerability — a security pass rate stuck at 56% even as output volume explodes.

The report's sharpest finding is that the syntax problem is solved while the correctness problem isn't, which is precisely why generated code needs to be checked against a verified, deterministic understanding of the system rather than trusted on a clean compile.

We chose it because it's the strongest independent evidence this year that verification, not generation, is where modernization programs are won.
