Disruptive tech

Finding someone who isn't at least vaguely aware that chatbot AI technologies are poised to severely disrupt tech, and quite possibly upend white-color work as we know it, is getting harder these days.

Anyone who's played around with OpenAI's ChaptGPT or chatbots like Jasper or copy.ai can see pretty quickly both the promise, and pitfalls, of these tools.

Travel even further down a rabbit hole of daily news commentary, blog posts, YouTube videos, and the like and you'll find a wide range of opinions, possibilities, problem solving applications and dystopian nightmares to keep you busy for as long as you have the time.

We're exploring ways these technologies might impact real-world legacy modernization, and will have plenty to say in the coming weeks and months. So stay tuned for more.

Meanwhile, sticking with the fundamentals is a good way to build a foundation upon which we can apply the new stuff, even the game-changers like automation and AI.

If you're just getting started working with microservices, or planning on it as part of your modernization plans, we found an informative video that explains the concept of microservices in five minutes. It will stimulate your thinking, even if you have experience with microservices.

The 13th CA 2E CA Plex conference coming up in the spring is a great place to build on your foundations in one three day conference.

Much more down below including links to articles on the tech labor market, AI economics, and government legacy planning.
