Subject: Your invitation: Nonviolent Tools against Growing Violence in the West Bank

Dear Friend,

As part of our ongoing Emergency Assistance, Shared Resistance campaign, we invite you to a special discussion where you will hear from Palestinian, Israeli and international activists and experts.

They will share updates about settler violence in the West Bank, and discuss the role of nonviolence in resisting displacement, the impact of international sanctions, and what these developments mean for Palestinian-Israeli joint work.

Tuesday, 21 July 2026

1:30 PM EST | 8:00PM Jerusalem | 6:00PM London

We will hear from:

  • Arafat Abu Rass, a Palestinian activist and resident of As-Sawiya, a village threatened by Israeli settlement expansion and settler violence.

  • Iris Gur, a human rights activist born in Israel who provides protective presence to Palestinian communities under threat.

  • Michael Schaeffer Omer-Man, director of the Israel-Palestine program at Democracy for the Arab World Now (DAWN) who has worked on international sanctions and Israeli and Palestinian civil society movements.

  • The discussion will be moderated by Jessica Naef, from the Swiss Friends of Combatants for Peace.

We have reached over 10% of our goal in our first weekend. Thank you! You can support the campaign here, and we hope you will join us for this urgently needed conversation.
