This summer, we're continuing Emergency Assistance, Shared Resistance - our annual campaign to support communities facing violence, displacement and injustice while strengthening Palestinian-Israeli nonviolent action. By providing rapid support when communities come under pressure and investing in the people leading grassroots change, the campaign brings together emergency response and peacebuilding in one shared effort.
Today, we're launching this year's campaign.
Over the next month, we hope to raise $75,000 to support four urgent initiatives that respond to immediate needs. Together, we will: Support children and families displaced by home demolitions, military operations, and settler violence, ensuring they receive practical assistance and the support they need to rebuild their lives. Rebuild greenhouses in Bardala, helping farming families restore livelihoods destroyed by military operations and settler violence, while strengthening the resilience of communities determined to remain on their land. Strengthen joint Palestinian-Israeli women's grassroots action, investing in women led community organising, nonviolent action, and local peacebuilding initiatives. Sustain the Palestinian and Israeli activists leading Combatants for Peace into its next twenty years of nonviolent struggle.
