We went to Beit Sahour as an emergency response after Palestinian landowners asked for our help. Violent settlers from the nearby Yatziv outpost have been preventing them from accessing their land and placing Israeli symbols across their property. This morning, the landowners wanted to return to their land, so we went to stand with them, alongside members of the Beit Sahour municipality and Christian clergy. From Qusra to Beit Sahour, armed settler terrorism is making daily life increasingly dangerous for Palestinian communities across the West Bank. Too often, that violence takes place with the protection or presence of the Israeli military, while Palestinians are left with nowhere to turn for protection.
We will not stand by and allow armed militias to determine whether Palestinians can remain on their own land. Support our Emergency Response today and stand with the Palestinian and Israeli activists putting themselves on the ground to confront settler violence through nonviolent action. |
