Dear Friend,
Our Summer Campaign — Emergency Assistance, Shared Resistance has already brought hope and relief to children and families caught in extreme crisis. Now, we turn to another urgent need: sustaining the emotional resilience of those leading the struggle for peace and equality across Israel and Palestine.
Nonviolent resistance demands more than courage — it requires deep, intentional care. Day after day, Palestinian and Israeli activists are putting their bodies, voices, and hearts on the line. They face overwhelming emotional and physical strain, relentless public pressure, and constant threats to their safety. Palestinian activists live under military occupation. They face daily restrictions on movement, limited access to basic resources, and systemic violence. When they engage with Israeli activists or stand against violence, they are routinely accused of “collaborating with the enemy”, an accusation that can lead to ostracism, intimidation, or worse. Israeli activists who stand in solidarity with Palestinians and speak out against the occupation are labeled "traitors" and accused of "supporting terror." They endure harassment in their communities, threats online, and in some cases violence from extremists.
Despite this, they continue to march, to speak, and to resist — for the sake of everyone who cannot. |
