To those who have already given: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your generosity is already touching lives.
Our summer campaign is making a difference. This week, CfP brought rucksacks, crates of pens, crayons, and notebooks to Gazan orphans who are now being cared for in Bethlehem. These children, whose parents were killed in Gaza, are carrying enormous grief and trauma. These new supplies offer a small sense of normalcy and comfort amid unimaginable loss. Yesterday, many came together for an important talk: Dry Lands, Deep Courage: Co-Resisting Water Apartheid in the Jordan Valley. If you missed it, you can watch the recording and take action for water justice here. The conversation shed light on the daily struggles and courage of families in the Jordan Valley. Because of your support, CfP is preparing to bring water to these communities and is assembling emergency kits for displaced families. But we can, and must, do more. With the school year starting on August 26, the Palestinian village of Al-Auja has reached out asking for help. Families there live under constant pressure from settler violence and water apartheid, yet they remain determined to keep their children learning, hopeful, and rooted on their land.
With your generosity, we can provide additional school supplies and care that will allow the children of Al-Auja to begin the year with dignity and joy.
