| Bleeding Control Classes From commercial workplace mishaps to farming accidents, uncontrolled bleeding is one of the leading causes of preventable trauma deaths, and yet people are often afraid to intervene because they are worried that they may make things worse or hurt the victim. The reality is that basic bleeding control is an easy to learn and critical skill. The Stop the Bleed program aims to equip the average citizen with the knowledge, skills and equipment to help save a life until advanced care is available.
Campus Safety is hosting "Stop the Bleed" training classes for anyone interested in receiving the training and certification. Each class will be approximately 4 hours in length, and will be held in the afternoons from 1:15pm to 5:15pm.
July 8 and 9 will be identical basic level classes, followed by an advanced class July 10 those interested in going more in-depth.

If you would like to sign up for either of the basic classes or the advanced class, please reach out to Samuel Kane. There is no cost to participate, but having a count of interested persons will help to account for potential class size. |

| Battalion Update | Capt. Winkler Summer furlough is almost over, and the Battalion is due back in town on Saturday. Sergeant Major and the Battalion leadership will be arriving today and tomorrow for training and preparation, and the 16 men in 2nd Phase will arrive Saturday. Pray for good leadership training this week and safe travels for everyone coming in! |
