Unit 62 R-Night
Dinner this evening, Monday, September 30 will be at 5:00 PM. R-Night will start promptly at 6:30 PM in the Gym. 
Auto Shop Closed
The Auto Shop will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week. Ross Holdeman will also be gone Oct 2–14. Please direct all vehicle needs to Steve Kientz at transportation@iblp.org, O: 903-636-9263, C: 316-882-3504. 
Field House Gym Closed
The Field House Gym will be closed to volleyball starting Tuesday, October 1 in preparation for Family Camp. Outdoor courts in the Campground will be available and the gym will reopen for sports on Friday, October 18.
Family Camp Western Day

Battalion Update
Classes and training continue for the battalion. This past Saturday the men were able to be involved in a small day-long deployment in Gladewater assisting with water sports/games for handicapped adults.

Basic Training: Unit 62 kicks off this evening! Everyone is welcome to join us at 6:30 PM as the men begin their journey into Basic Training. 

SMAJ Dept Notes: Please make sure all communication regarding battalion scheduling is cleared and approved by Cpl. Dean before you tell a battalion member where to go or what to do. When it doubt, please check with the battalion NCOIC.
Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
Another Basic Training off and running today, and with it more opportunity for conflict to arise—department against department and employee against employee. Here are Seven Steps to Resolving Conflict: 1) Take the first step. 2) Ask God for wisdom. 3) Begin with your part. 4) Listen to the other person's perspective. 5) Speak the truth tactfully. 6) Work on the problem. Don't figure out the blame. 7) Focus on reconciliation.
