Blessings Quilt
As the Sewing Room prepares this year's quilt, they would like your feedback on what you are grateful for and what verses/phrases come to mind when you think of God's blessings. It doesn't have to be fancy. Just reply to this email and we will forward it to the Sewing Room for a collection blessings to embroider on the 2018 Family Camp Quilt!
Parents' Night Out
Esther Staddon is gathering staff kids together to test out our new Biblical Character Illustrated Curriculum and capture footage for a new promo video. If your children are interested and if you'd appreciate free babysitting for the next two Thursday evenings, please contact Esther Staddon at estaddon@iblp.org or 405-420-6490 for additional details.
Leadership Corner | Capt. Boulden
As Cadre and I discuss "the ability to manage our emotions," I've given them the challenge to sit back and think before emotionally responding to any given situation. Learn to actively listen. Learn to empathize. Learn to recognize and value unique individuals. Learn to welcome, not shun, differing perspectives. Learn to withhold judgment until a person is finished talking. More about The One Soft Skill.
Basic Training Update | Capt. Boulden
One week down and eight to go! Unit 60 had a successful first week of training and are adjusting well to the rigors and protocols of being a recruit in Basic Training. This coming week the men will begin their land navigation drills and participate in both the micro and three hour hikes. Please be in prayer for the men as these hikes can be some of the hardest and more rigorous times for them.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Unit last Monday night and for those who helped create a smooth transition for the men into Basic Training. Please continue to be in prayer for the men in training and the leaders that are over them. Pray for wisdom, strength, and humility as each day progresses and increases in hardship.
