Week of Prayer and Fasting
Dr. Levendusky would like to call for all of our staff and supporters to participate in a focused time of prayer May 1–7. Staff and families are invited to fast as they are able and as the LORD leads. Below are the suggested prayer themes for each day of the week of Prayer and Fasting—

May 1: Reconciled to the Lord.
May 2: Reconciled with family members.
May 3 (National Day of Prayer): Our nation reconciled with the Lord.
May 4: Reconciled with other believers.
May 5: Reconciled with other nationalities and people groups.
May 6: Reconciliation within our own church family.
May 7: Reconciliation with enemies or offended people around us.

Please note that there will not be a staff lunch this Wednesday, May 2. Staff families are welcomed to join our staff for prayer time at 12 Noon in the Faculty Dining Room.
Sewing Room Hours
This week the Sewing Room will be open during their normal hours Monday–Wednesday and then again on Thursday and Friday afternoon. Sewing Room will be closed May 7–11. If you have a specific need, please contact Mrs. Burch at 903-714-8632.
Basic Training Update | Capt. Boulden
With another week behind us, Basic Training marches on into their sixth and hardest week of training yet. The big event this week will be the men's 24 Hour Endurance Hike. The Unit leaves Monday afternoon for Oklahoma where they will cover approximately 56 miles from 6:30 AM Tuesday to 6:30 AM Wednesday morning. This is by far one of the hardest—if not the hardest—events of Basic. Please be in prayer for the the safety of the Unit as we travel up there today, hike all of tomorrow, and travel back on Wednesday. Be in prayer that this hike will be a successful one, that the men would be pushed and stretched, and that Lord willing we would all finish strong. Thank you for your prayers and support.
