Cackle Hatchery's Annual Chicken Festival Coming This Weekend!

It's almost time for the best weekend of the year: Cackle Hatchery's Annual Chicken Festival! This FREE event runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 and Saturday Oct. 4. Parking is free and there are plenty of events for the whole family to enjoy! Here is a schedule of the major events and all the pertinent information:

Duck Races: These will be held on both days at 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Live Music: The Johnny Mace Band will perform both Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Magic Show: This will be held both Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Amateur Egg Eating Contest: This popular event will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 3. REGISTER HERE.

Professional Egg Eating Contest: The pros will take the stage at 3 p.m. on Oct. 4. REGISTER HERE.

Costume and Crowing Contests: Both contests will start at 4 p.m. on Oct. 4. SIGN UP HERE OR HERE.
