Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving Friend

I'm grateful to be connected with you, and that you take the time to read my emails :)

In August, a close friend and flight instructor of Patrick's tragically passed away in a plane crash. It really shook us up as he was only 35 years old - a good man, husband, dad, pilot, and so so much more. 😥

A reminder that life until you're 90 isn't guaranteed so do what you want to do, take chances, and live with no regrets.

I'm so grateful to be on this life's journey with my best friend and husband Patrick, and our two beautiful loving children, who are quickly learning about business. Cassian would like to open a Build-a-Robot store one day (like Build-a-Bear). You will pay, and he will give you instructions and supplies!

Before the weekend begins, I wanted to remind you of our InvestHER meeting happening tomorrow in Edmonton. Special guest Harneet Dhaliwal, founder of Cranston Master Builder, will be joining us.

Boots of the Ground Tour of Ashwood Park, Texas

We (Patrick and I) just came back from Houston where we toured 40+ real estate investors around Ashwood Park. Everyone got to see our beautiful model unit, and the leasing office under construction!

For those that aspire to buy apartment buildings in the US themselves, they came away with more confidence from everything they learned and increased optimism that it was possible to own 100+ units.

I was also there to inspect the progress on our renovations (a close eye on your contractors is so important for a successful project!). A total of 13 units have been completed so far, and the leasing office will be done next week!
