Hey Friend,

Here's an update on what's been going on lately!

Houston 144-unit CLOSED!

We did it!! We literally just closed today! Congrats to everyone involved and to all our investors, as it truly was a team effort!

My partners and I were in Houston this week to visit the property again, talk to the property management team, conduct some staff interviews, and finalize the closing!

Now we start executing our plan to take this property to the next level! 👷‍♀️(Mother Nature already gave her blessing and started the process by taking down a branch for us today!)

Spruce Grove 6-plex CLOSED!

Our Spruce Grove 6-plex finally closed last Friday! This was our longest build yet, but our inspector confirmed the builder's quality was top notch👍🏻👍🏻

Although a long process, we gained quite a bit of appreciation over the 2 years, and took advantage of CMHC MLI Select financing at 95% (which didn't exist 2 years ago).

Thanks to our team (mortgage broker, lawyer, property manager, and realtors) for all working together to get it over the finish line!

Tenants started moving in this week!

InvestHER Con in Phoenix

Grateful that I got the opportunity to attend the all-women InvestHER Conference. I met some incredibly inspiring women, made valuable connections with investors in Texas, and had a few moments to relax as well. 😅

If you’re an active female real estate investor, you should definitely come down with me next year (it's in Austin, TX)! It’s not just for those investing in the US; there were several Canadians, and in fact, even one of the speakers was Canadian. The whole conference was so refreshing and different from any other real estate conference I’ve ever attended!

Multifamily Conference in Toronto

After a few days back, I was off again to Toronto, which was the place to be if you’re in multifamily.

My partners and I hosted a VIP party the first evening and then networked our butts off for 2 whole days.
