Personal Side


Last year was a lot about growth and stepping into new roles. I took on the position of asset manager of 144 units in Texas and Patrick left his role at Inter Pipeline Ltd. to join me full-time in our business! It was not an easy decision, but a big motivator was not wanting to have any regrets that we didn't try and go for it, and build something incredible together.


Life is incredibly fragile, as we were reminded of again yesterday when hearing of the passing of a friend that Patrick and I both worked with. Cherish every moment.😓


2023 had its challenges, but we did have some great highlights as well...


Cassian did his first triathlon, Anika had her first dance concert and flew in Grandpa's plane. Patrick did a 70.3 Ironman, and I enjoyed a glass of wine at the InvestHER conference in Phoenix 😆

Real Estate Side


I won't bore you with economics and predictions. Instead, I

I'll tell you that in Edmonton we have 6 lease renewals coming up in February, and we'll be increasing rents between $75-$200 with the market! We've also already been seeing the buying market getting much more heated, with property values increasing, too, even since January 1st.


This graph of Calgary & Edmonton says it all. Edmonton has some room to catch up to Calgary, and that's exciting! There's still time to get into the market (but that window is closing). If you're looking to get in, start taking some action. Let me know if you need help with that!

We're excited to invite you to our joint event with the Canadian Real Estate Women Association. It is a hybrid event with the speakers in person in Toronto (you can go in person too if you happen to be in Toronto) and attendees joining virtually from all over Canada.
