Subject: Happy Easter Friend

But before we roll into the weekend, I'm hosting another webinar!

Hi Friend,

Did you hear that a 3-bedroom house in Ottawa sold for $800k OVER the list price?! Even the average house price in Edmonton is now over $500k. Higher prices have made more people turn to other markets, including outside the country. Have you thought about buying property in the US? Patrick and I thought about it for a long time and always envisioned buying something in the US one day (ever since I was introduced to Janet LePage - now my investing idol!), but we didn't know how we were going to do it... until this year!

This Thursday, we are hosting an online lunch & learn webinar. I will share our story of venturing into the US and talk about the differences between the two countries, including important things to watch out for before jumping in! Experienced investor Marcin Drozdz will also be joining us to answer questions, as he owns over 250 units in the US.

You are invited to a Zoom LUNCH & LEARN (bring your own lunch 🥗😀)

When: Apr 14, 2022 12:00 PM MST (2 om EST)

Q&A to follow

We had over 20 women and men come out to the April InvestHER Meetup in Edmonton!

The Edmonton InvestHER Meetup is one of 55 chapters in North America. Our mission is to support and inspire women real estate investors around the globe to live a financialy free and balanced life. We are dedicated to creating empowering online and in-person communities where women have a non-intimidating environment to ask questions and receive the support they need. Our vision is to see all women investors achieve her goals on her own terms.

Next one is May 7.

It's Day 46 of Russia's invasion and genocide of Ukrainians. The news just keeps getting worse. We feel sick about it but it's important that we don't turn away. Patrick and I have been doing whatever we can to raise awareness and help. Most of our family in Ukraine has not left yet as it's relatively calm where they are - it's just a constant dilemma whether the women and children should split and make the long difficult journey to Poland and then to Canada, or stay together...

If anyone asks where the best place to donate is, I have been recommending https://www.ukredu.org/helpukraine which is an organization helping millions of internally displaced families. They are doing great work. 💙💛

My cousin in Ukraine makes these gorgeous dolls. She's also a painter and a model. Her mother is a fashion designer. They are now helping Ukrainian orphans, some of who have now been taken to Poland.

Hope you have a nice Easter weekend with your family Friend

Smachnoii pasky! (translation: May you eat delicious Ukrainian Easter bread!)
