Woman in Custody After Crashing into Police Cruiser

A woman was arrested after locking herself in an SUV in the 1100 block of Las Canoas Road in Upper El Medio shortly after 5 p.m. She has been described by LAPD as a "trespasser who crashed into a police cruiser." ABC 7 News reported witness statements that she may have been "under the influence." Las Canoas area is closed until at least 7 p.m.
