BREAKING NEWS: Woman Arrested After Double Burglary In Pacific Palisades
Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrested a woman, identified as Robin White, for burglary in the 300 block of Via Nicholas in the Paseo Miramar neighborhood of Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, June 23 at 4:00 p.m. According to LAPD Senior Lead Officer Michael Moore, the homeowner entered her home and found food and clothing strewn around her kitchen with the rear window wide open.
The homeowner also saw her stovetop lit, as if someone was preparing to cook a meal. After turning off the stove and closing the window, the victim called 9-1-1. While waiting for officers, the victim witnessed the suspect cooking food and drinking alcoholic beverages in her kitchen.
When LAPD arrived they arrested the suspect without resistance and she was taken to the hospital. White is currently in custody on $50,000 bail.
Moore told the Palisadian-Post he recognized White from a Palisades “Tent City” patrol he performed on the morning of May 27, 2015 when Post reporter Alexandria Bordas joined him for a ride-along. On that day, Moore said he noticed White had bolt cutters, which concerned him.
“I told my guys to keep an eye out because I assumed she was going to use the bolt cutters to steal bikes or get into car ports, but apparently she’s moved up,” Moore told the Post.
Authorities said White has previously been arrested and is the prime suspect in a second burglary that occurred at 4:45 a.m. that same day, also in the Paseo Miramar neighborhood in the 300 block of Via Florence.
