BREAKING NEWS: Grazing Goats Escape Onto Sunset Blvd. in Pacific Palisades

More than 50 goats brought to Pacific Palisades to clear excess brush in the Highlands escaped Tuesday afternoon from the fencing on the hillside behind Starbucks at Palisades Drive and Sunset Boulevard.

According to onlookers, the fleeing goats managed to make it to the street, with some billie goats swarming the intersection.

LAPD officers and residents of the Highlands assisted in corralling all 50 goats safely back behind the fence.

“It was a chaotic, happy mess,” said Highlands resident Karen Miller, who spotted the goats as she was driving down Palisades Drive. “What a wonderful and happy experience in the Palisades.”
