BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Palisades Bluffs Fire Started by Homeless, per LAFD Battalion Chief

A fire on the hillside between Via de las Olas and PCH that has burned about 2.5 acres was started by homeless individuals who were burning trash, Battalion 9 Chief Antoine McKnight told the Palisadian-Post on the scene. "They tried to stomp it out but it got out of their control", McKnight said.
No structures are threatened and no injuries have been reported.
