BREAKING NEWS: Palisades Bluffs Fire Burns Five Acres

Fire on the hillside below the Via de las Olas bluffs burned about 5 acres overnight. The fire began around 3:15 am and is now 90% contained, according to LAFD on the scene. Helicopter water drops will continue throughout the morning. Stations 69 & 23 have been battling the blaze all night from both PCH and the Bluffs. One lane of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) northbound remains closed. All other lanes are open. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
