Amid swarms of Secret Service, CHP motorcycles, helicopters and K-9 units, President Barack Obama arrived via motorcade in Pacific Palisades on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 10 for a pair of fundraisers.
Obama is attending a $33,400-per-person “roundtable discussion” at the Riviera home of J.J. Abrams, director of the upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
He is also attending a concert by Jamie Foxx at a fundraiser at the Riviera home of Ed and Robin Berman where attendees paid $1,000-$5,000 per person.
Traffic in some surrounding areas was brought to a standstill with some roads closed to through traffic. Traffic closures will remain in effect in certain areas throughout the afternoon.
