Subject: Happy World Cleanup Day, brand audit friends 🥳

Today is the day!

Let's celebrate World Cleanup and International Coastal Cleanup Day with a brand audit 🙌

Good luck to everyone who is leading or taking part in a brand audit event this weekend! Wishing you all the very best of luck 💛 Thank you for all that you do.

While the brand audit website is unfortunately still down, our spirits will remain high! Our team is working to resolve the issue ASAP. In the meantime, please read below to access the key resources you will need.

Remember your data card 📝

What makes a brand audit different from a cleanup? One very important thing: recording data. Remember to bring the data card and visual guide! You can find them available in 15 languages, thanks to Break Free From Plastic members who translated them.

Send us your photos 📸

We are collecting #BrandAudit2022 photos and videos with the intention of using some for the report, social media posts, and other materials. The overall goal is communicate the 2022 global brand audit findings more effectively, and to tell the stories behind the numbers. Share your photos (and videos) with us to help us tell your story!

Return the Trash 🗑️

After your brand audit, we encourage you to box up some of the branded plastic waste you found and send it back to the company that made it! Include a letter to the company, urging them to #breakfreefromplastic. Please save a few extra samples of branded plastic packaging waste you find in your brand audit for another upcoming activity 😎

How to submit your data 📄

After your brand audit event is done, you'll need to submit your data digitally to BFFP no later than September 30 in order to be part of the global 2022 report. We have three options available, so please choose the platform that best suits your needs: TrashBlitz, BFFP Online Form, or the Excel Sheet. Note that data must be submitted in English.
