#breakfreefromplastic is rolling out our plastic-free education training program in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The program consists of a plastic-free education curriculum for ages 5 to 18 and a training program that will support educators in integrating the curriculum for their specific needs. It also includes access to an educators’ network for teachers to share resources and best

The Great Global Nurdle Hunt

The Great Global Nurdle Hunt is back this September 19th - October 17th 2022!

If you're new to the hunt, The Great Global Nurdle Hunt is Fidra’s annual event, which asks organisations and individuals to organise nurdle hunts at the same time all around the world to draw attention to the plastic pellet pollution issue and collect a snapshot of global data. Taking part helps us build evidence which is essential to show industry and decision makers that urgent action is needed!

Taking part is really simple:

  • Head to a beach, estuary, or river between 19th Sep – 17th Oct.

  • Search for nurdles

  • Count how many you find (even if 0 this is still useful information)

  • Record how long you searched for and how many people took part

  • Submit your data to our online map
