Don't forget our in-person classes have started
and you can totally get in on it!
I'm so looking forward to Work Your Walk and playing with all the elements that go into our gait.
Today we're going to work and stretch our calves and mobilize our ankles, which is obviously great for your lower legs, but it also important for how you walk. We want to be able to keep our heels down longer and increase the action in the backs of our legs.
Interestingly, for some people, there's a really big difference in how their hips feel after doing the calf work, even without doing any hip exercises. Come and see if that happens for you!
It's cool how you can affect one body part by moving another... because yes, it's all connected 😂
Because we're going to be walking for part of the class, don't worry about bringing a mat. I'll provide them from the studio (cleaned, of course).
We'll be on the south lawn of the Roncesvalles United Church. Normally you would go through the parking lot at 240 Roncesvalles, but for the outdoor classes come around the corner to Wright Ave.
We will be spaced out by 3 m as required by provincial guidelines.
You are welcome to be masked or not, given that we are maintaining social distance outside.
We do not have access to the building, so please be prepared
for no use of the bathroom.
Again, no access to the building means bring your own water bottle.
We will absolutely encourage jumping, squeaking, laughing and talking all at once because we aren't on Zoom!
