I always think it's interesting that we have a general Canadian disdain for how hard February is, but there's just a bit more daylight out there to enjoy this month.
We're celebrating it with a great new class, an awesome workshop, a new online offering and a professional development immersion for movement teachers. It's a busy time here at Boomerang!

A NEW CLASS: Pilates for Yogis will take place Friday's from 6pm-7pm

This class is for anyone who has ever walked out of a movement class feeling awesome for having worked your butt off with a side of low back, neck, or shoulder pain.

Hang on all you non-yogis– the asterisk in the name is JUST for you. We know that while not everyone practices Yoga, everyone has a movement habit of some kind. Whether it's Crossfit, the gym, HIIT/bootcamps, running, spinning, or simply just getting up from your desk to go pee (there are squats to be learned and abdominals to be strengthened for such occasions), PFY* is for humans, with a body, who are hungry to learn if the muscles they "want" to work actually are.

Anatomy for Everyone is a 2 hour, interactive, show-and-tell, all-questions-welcome workshop with Krisha Arbour, RMT, and Alison Crouch, Movement Coach.

If you have questions now, send them to us (you'll get a prompt before you purchase). Learn about how your bones connect, what your muscles do, what's the difference between tendons, ligaments and fascia, and what IS that thing that hurts in your knee/back/neck/whatever it is that bugs you!

NEW ONLINE SERIES: Pelvic Floor Fundamentals 

When it comes to pelvic floor work, sometimes less is more. Less stress, less strain, less worry. More release, more connection and more whole body movement!

This simple series of 4 videos includes just that. Each one is 15- 20 minutes and can be done together or separately. It's not about being perfect, or forcing yourself to do everything. A little bit every day is the way to make sustainable change!
