Hey everyone, welcome back!
I love fall. I know summer is wonderful, but I really enjoy the crisp fall air, the bright blue sky and the eventual turning of the leaves. I also love that “let’s get going” feeling that inspires me to get back into my routine, learn new things and get moving.
We’ve got a fresh new look for the studio, new storage and placement for the props, new workshops coming up, the return of your faves that have been on hiatus for the summer and a visit from Petra. It’s going to be a great month!
On a personal note, my house is empty, my kids are off and my husband is working all day every day, so I’m going to be taking classes myself for the next few months. See you on the mat!

| Do you love the new look at the studio?
I do! I am so happy with all the organising, streamlining and decorating that Alison Doyle of A Sense of Space has done for us. If you wish your place could look fresh and new as well, you’re in luck! Alison is joining us for wine and a free organising and decorating tutorial on Friday Sept 20 from 7:30-9:30 pm. You bring your questions, photos and yearning for a beautiful space, she’ll bring the answers and I’ll bring the wine!

Boomerang is partnering with Seva Canada to raise funds for people worldwide struggling with visual limitations. Alison is offering a by-donation class Friday Oct 11 from 7-8 pm. We’ll combine breathing, vision exercises and movement for an awesome re-patterning, re-setting class. Added bonus? Bring in your old glasses (prescription and over-the-counter) and Owl Optometry will get them to folks in need! At Seva, we believe that everyone has the right to sight. Founded in 1982, our mission is to restore sight and prevent blindness in the developing world. Through our unique partnerships, Seva works to establish locally managed eye care programs that will continue to serve people and communities long after Seva’s involvement is complete. |
