Subject: Can you believe it's been a year?

FREE class today, $30 pass and late-stage pandemic really is messing with your brain

We've been online for A YEAR!

Have you taken a class or private

 with us yet?

You still can.

Hi there!

How are you holding up? It's been a long year, but it also seems to have flown by. Time has ceased to mean anything these days for lots of us.

If you're one of those folks feeling like there are more challenges to mood and energy now than there were in the beginning, you're not alone.

Check out this fascinating (and sort of comforting) article from The Atlantic about how the late-stage pandemic really is messing with your brain.

And you know what can help with your state of mind and body?

Movement. And we've got you there!

Although some parts of the world are opening up, we're still closed here in Toronto, and we're going to keep offering our online schedule until the bitter end.

We changed our New Student special to make it even more accessible. You can now get your bestie to join you on the mat for 2 weeks of unlimited Zoom classes for only $30 (plus hst).

Once we can gather in person safely, we'll add some outdoor classes so we can move together, even though we'll be masked and 6' apart.

One of the amazing benefits of our neighbourhood is how good the walking is, and that seems like a great place to start!

We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

FREE CLASS ON FACEBOOK!

Alison is offering a free exploration of how your hands and fingers affect your shoulder mobility & stability in a private Facebook group today (Friday Mar 19).

Click here to join the group, then search Intelligent Movement Series to pre-register. It's at 2 pm EST, so you might just have time to get in, depending on when you opened this email. 😄

Are you a movement teacher?

Pilates, yoga, Restorative exercise or any other movement modality?

Alison is setting up a Teacher Talk Zoom meetup!

We'll talk about how to emerge from lockdown teaching,

how we've been supporting our mental health as teachers and

what we've learned from a year online.

Get on Alison's personal email list or follow her on Instagram

to get more details as they emerge.

And for everyone, whether you're a movement teacher or movement student, we love to see your smiling faces on Zoom in class or in your private sessions. We love that you've kept moving through this challenging year and we can't wait to come back to the studio.

Until then, see you on the mat (in your living room)!

xo Team B ❤️
