Things are changing every day as the word adjusts to the new reality, and here are 5 new things to know about Boomerang
Happy Tuesday and second week of social distancing!

One of the things we know about health, both physical and mental, is that movement is really important! So we're working at keeping you moving, and making it as simple as possible.

So here are 5 things about the current state of things at Boomerang.

1. All classes are now online 

Due to the Toronto state of emergency and closing of non-essential businesses, we have with regret changed the three outdoor walking classes we wanted to maintain. Despite our ability to stay 6' apart, we need to model the best social choices and that  means staying apart. The Tuesday and Friday MoveSMART classes and Saturday Align & Refine are joining the rest of the schedule online.

Align & Refine will run at 10 am instead of 10:20 am. Zoom doesn't give us an option for anything other than the hour or half hour and I need a moment to shift from one class to the other. 

2. Free classes for health care providers & first responders

Thank you for everything you are doing and risking to take care of your communities. We are eternally grateful. Email me at alison@boomerangpilates.ca and I'll get you all set up.

3. Class sizes, pricing and sliding scale

We are capping our numbers for classes so that our teachers can still offer what we've always honoured at Boomerang: quality, detailed instruction. Your teacher will be able to see you, make corrections and modifications as needed. 

You won't be in a class of 80 people where you aren't sure if what you're doing is working. As always, we will be keeping an eye out for you, your movement and your safety.

You're always welcome to pop your mic on and ask questions or double check your form.

We value the expertise, time and love of your teachers (and know that you do too), so we've kept our pricing the same. 

As an added bonus for those with 10 class and monthly passes, we're going to start adding recordings of some classes to a private page you can access anytime so you can work out whenever you want! 

But we also know that these are tough financial times for some of us. If classes aren't accessible to  you, please reach out if you need a sliding scale. Email Alison at alison@boomerangpilates.ca and we can work something out for you. We don't want anyone to be deprived of the opportunity to move based on financial hardship.

4. ClassPass is back!
Our pause for ClassPass clients is finished, and we have everything we need to connect to the ClassPass platform.
Book through ClassPass as you've always done and we'll see you on screen.

5. We've simplified the sign up process
  • Go to Schedule on the website (you have to click the pink cookies button to proceed)
  • Click the Book Now button
  • In the text box that follows your click is the link you need for your class. Highlight the link and select Go to the link address
  • Select the class for the day you've chosen, fill in the information and click Register
  • No registration options shows up?  No worries. Your link will be in your confirmation email (see below). Some classes require pre-registration, some don't. We're working on streamlining it all!
  • Click the Complete button at the bottom of the screen to save your spot
  • Forgot to get your Zoom access link before you clicked complete or didn't get the registration option? No problem! The link will also be in your class confirmation email. If you don't see the confirmation, check your promotions, junk or spam folders.
  • Join the class a few minutes before we're scheduled to start to make sure all your tech is working
We appreciate your patience as we learn the ropes for this new way of working, and we're thrilled that you're joining in, bringing your friends and family with you and spreading the word of awesome online classes at Boomerang.
